Regional field research

Lyn Mair

Published Guidebook Author & Seychelles Destination Specialist

Lyn Mair is a travel guide and naturalist specialising in the western Indian Ocean. She is a published co-author of Bradt's Seychelles guidebook, and Autalo's Seychelles guides draw on her regional field research; Marco Miller is their author and editor.

Bradt's author page describes Lyn Mair as a naturalist and travel guide who specialises in the islands of the western Indian Ocean, West Africa and Antarctica, and says she lives in Cape Town.

Bradt's Seychelles guidebook says she was one of the first volunteers to do environmental monitoring on Aldabra and has visited many of the most remote Seychelles islands since 1995. For Autalo she supplies regional field research on the Seychelles. Marco Miller writes, verifies and edits each guide.
